Is ACR Data a Violation of VPPA?

ACR data and the way that it works is tied to a household. It's not so dissimilar from a third party cookie tracking you all over the web, whether it's like the Facebook like button or Google Pixel. The most recent I know of is that in 2012, the law was revised to allow electronic consent instead of written consent. So that's still a long ways away from what is informed consent mean. But for now, just kind of clicking eye consent is enough for now.
