The Process of Writing an Academic Book

We sat down a couple of times to try to identify what were the big ideas and how would we organize that into chapters. We went around a hundred for an editor and we ended up happily with Harvard University Press. With her brilliant advice we got it whittled down to eight chapters It was she helped us very much think through how it should be organized then we were often running and and writing.
