Finland Joins NATO, Doubling the Alliance's Border With Russia
Finland formally became the 31st member of NATO on Tuesday, officially ending the country's post World War II policy of neutrality. Moscow has said it will respond by increasing its military presence in the region and they will take more measures if other NATO countries start deploying military assets to finish territory. Who knows if Finnish officials might start asking US troops on their soil?
