Was the Whole of the Conference on Eschatology a Surprise?

The conference itself was on the remnant of God's people, and it's not necessarily Israel. But an encouragement to those who are Christians that are looking at a society that is becoming less and less Christian. So yeah, we can see the church being attacked and maybe even the church dwindle. And the church becoming abandoning the truth of scripture, but God will always have his remnant.
