The Supermodels' Analysis of Pulmonary Hypertension
Pulmonary hypertension only really starts to develop once you've had the diagnosis for at least three years so we would say this is probable that you need to have the pathologies progressing over that time before it can cause pulmonary hypertension. Overall in our cohort of patients we saw 170 patients develop right heart catholic confirmed pre-comparing pulmonary hypertension and of those 132s around 11% was pulmonary arterial hypertension. On average the gas exchange measure the DLCO on that lung function tests that we'll all be familiar with declines at a group level by about one to one and a half percent per year during the course of follow-up.
