I think he needs to realize that's the nature of the beast of cold messaging. I've done a ton of cold outreach, basically built my current business using cold outreach in the early days. For me, there's two metrics. You can either increase your total number of sends, email sends, LinkedIn message sends, or you can increase your conversion rate,. And ideally you'll increase both and you'll see results come really fast. But you just have to understand that cold outreach, no matter the platform, LinkedIn or otherwise, is just a numbers game.
