I think Democrats have shifted I've noticed a lot over the past two years since I've left helping like when I was you know I came back into Democratic politics during the Trump years so 2017 to 2021 and identity politics rose above all else. During that period of time everything we did was about counting people by race yeah. It wasn't about whose ideas and their expertise you'd be like do we have the right amount of people? The party made a mistake by obsessing over that above all else what I've seen now is a shift in the partyYou're seeing more candidates in Obama mentions federal men but you see more candidates who have more inclusive messaging i'm seeing it everywhere the problem
