How to Play Continuous Slides on Instruments
The most intuitive way to play those gestures is to put your note on the starting note, and then slide to the destination note. Lippel Hocken made the continuum as a series of evenly spaced semitones. So you need to have each row consist of chromatic notes,Semitones. On a rolling C board, if you are playing a C and you do a vibrato, movements to the left of center will have half the effect because the key to the right of C is B.
