The intrusive thoughts over whatever it is you know are enormously well can be distressing and a very high burden on people's psyche so it's not surprising that it then spills out and starts to affect other areas of a life. I wonder about do you have you seen over your time the OCD themes reflect cultural themes such as gender, sexual orientation or social media? There's no doubt that that as things sort of change and develop you know that the OCD the content changes and we know this because if you go back in history of OCD there are reports of OCD behaviors four or five hundred years ago but they're all religious types of OCD.
