How Much Omega-3s Do I Need?

Omega-3s and omega-6s are considered essential fatty acids. They're involved in every cell in your body, they control and regulate inflammatory processes. The plant source of omega-6 is arachidonic acid; if you eat hamburgers and hohoes or fried foods, you're getting plenty of that omega-6. There's no omega-3s in our current American diet.
