Are There Broader Effects of Technology on Memory?
There is some suggestive evidence that when we rely on technology, we may have worse memory for specific task. But there's very limited evidence that it extends beyond that. And then finally, we can ask if i rely on g p s alot, would i have not only problems a remembering routes in general, but maybe my entire memory system might be impacted? For that there's almost no evidence.
