The Generation Game in the Housing Market
The average house price in Ireland is 300 grand. The salary of people in their late 20s, early 30s is about 35 grand. So every single time house prices rise, they get poorer. Healthcare in Ireland is off the scales in the US and the UK,. Australia, Canada, it's all over the place. But us liberal democracies that speak English have gone down a different route. We've got state provided childcare but we're paying 12,700 per child per year. It's incredible. And you can see how disposable income is completely squeezed for this generation. This is cleaved.
