The Enlightenment and the Revolution in Europe
After the American Revolution, immediately Quaker agitators and some others began fighting for freedom for the slaves in the South. And one of the seminal moments in feminism in the United States was the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. This was the first women's rights convention. The abolition of slavery and the so-called liberation of women have always been inextricably linked. So that's the transhumanist next the end of the beginning that we see in these smaller moves.
