The State of the California Salmon Season
There is no locally fresh-caught salmon to be had. This is an industry that is valued at around $500 million. The last time something like this happened was in 2008 and 2009. Part of the reason is that we have rules and policies that are supposed to prevent exactly this kind of thing. It's a failure.
