The hackers used Twitter, GitHub and PASPEN to announce their hack of the NSA. The first posts were made in broken English so attribution becomes much more difficult. "They knew that if the Twitter account got subpoenaed or GitHub or whatever, it probably would lead to a dead end," he says.
