Is Road Memorization a Bad Thing?
It's an interesting question as to whether road memorization of certain things is a bad thing. We're much more likely to memorize the lyrics of songs now than a poem for obvious reasons, and certainly than a passage in a book. I think that there probably is a depth to memorization that is hard to quantify.
