Richard Pudlakot is sentenced to death and hanged in 1304. The robbery means the state regalia is moved to the Tower of London, with only the holy coronation items staying at the Abbey. In 1669, the crown jewels go on display at the Tower for the first time - but this makes them vulnerable to a heist.
