The first chapter of your book also mentions receiving commentary or feedback that joy is not a serious subject. Why do we need to take joy more seriously? Attending to joy means practicing what you might call meaning, which I think is a word. Meaning is sort of meant by giving and receiving care. And even if someone's brownies are terrible, it doesn't matter.
