Lust can override other considerations, thereby hindering us from seeing all that is there. According to the great Aristotelian and Augustinian and Thomistic principle, we see the world through our appetites. The sadness of the sensuous man who never even really sees what he thinks is the object of his attention. My mantra will be learn the difference between men and women. Live the difference.
