The Titanomicy and the War of the Gods

The titanomicy is an example of what is sometimes referred to as a a theomachy, like theo and then, at the beginning ofit, a war of the gods. Now i want to move to reading a section from an ancient text known as a hesiads theogomy. This is the the genealogy of the gods by the ancient greek writer hesiad. But first i need to set the stage before i get to the part we're going to read.
