CD4 Versus CD8 - What's Driving T Cell Differentiation?

CD8 positive cells are incapable of mediating for example B cell responses, they cannot help B cells. Not only that, within the CD8 positive cells you have Foxby3 expressing T cells and very interestingly these cells can mediate graph projections. So I thought it was, this is very cool paper, took me a while to read it and kind of understand it's very complex but I think what the authors really really thought is that this model helped to answer the question what is driving T cell differentiation, CD4 versus CD8. They show that it's not about the receptor itself but it's about the fact that one of the loci is designed to keep expressing for longer. That
