The Intertextuality of the Psalms
Psalm 59 is the first time that we've been able to do this. It's a Psalm by David and then a description of something that was happening in his life at the time. So I, I find this fascinating. We're not going to spend much time looking at it, but it starts out, for instance, delivering me from my enemies,. oh my God, set me securely on high away from those who rise up against me. And then it gets pretty specific about how his enemies at evening, it says they, they howl like a dog and they go around the city. That again, reflects what David does in the other Psalms as he takes this experience
