Poverty by America is a book about how the systems are set up to essentially just feed themselves. The author goes into great detail about how all these aspects of our life work to keep us in our socioeconomic class. He defines poverty as not having enough choice and being taken advantage because of that. In Canada, we're both the rental and the owner owning a home costs a ton of money.
