What Is Worldwide Katastrophic Rifting?
Young earth creationists use terms deliberately made up by geology to mislead you. They will take words or phrases within the profession and apply them in non-common ways. There is no evidence of catastrophic plate tectonics, they don't give it because they know it's easily falsified. The impact that created the moon wasn't even a 14 kilometer wide asteroid. We're talking about planetary forces that are like two kilometers away from each other. And those seismic forces would literally rip the planet apart.
