The cromaternity and some of the and maternal welfare centres, were then re purposed by therr the people who used them. And contrary to some of the colonial administrators views that women might not use these centres, actually they became quite, very popular during the inter war period and well into the fifties. So i think it's important to understand that the n colonial way of saying things was a, thata african women wear backbots and b, they would only using these medical centers if they gave up all other kinds of therapeutics.
