The New Zempic Weight Loss Treatment

A zempic is a brand name of a drug called semaglutide. Although it's supposed to be an anti-diabetic treatment, one of the side effects is weight loss. It has become so popular as an unofficial diet aid that there was a global shortage of the drug for diabetics. More than a quarter of adults in England are obese and obesity costs NHS around £6 billion per year. The company that makes a zempic also makes wagovii - a higher dose injection specifically intended to help patients lose weight.
