Denver, Colorado Mayor Michael Hancock: Cities are not equipped with resources to deal with such a major influx. 1400 were sheltered last night in our city and that raises the number of folks that we shelter on a nightly basis,. including our own housed in Denver by 70%. A city like Denver who's not on the border or simply not equipped to address these type of challenges.
