i don't think the human spirit was meant to carry the weight of the world in that sense. i've been tracking that when i consume less news, i'm happier and more productive. And one of the things that i'm trying to do is stay more focused on my circle of influence. The whole business model for all these social media companies is just that engagement equals dollars.
