The Trial of Kid the Pirate

When Kid arrived in New York, he was met by a grim welcome. His backers in England were already well-distancing themselves from him. He spent the next year in harsh conditions awaiting his fate. In 1701, Kid was extradited to England, where he would stand trial for piracy and murder.
