We don't want everyone to be a mathematician anyway. Does it really matter if only five per cent of our society gives a fig obout mathematics? My wife was training as an opthalmic nurse, specializing in eyes, and mathematics was by no means her rite subject at school. The only bit of math she liked was geometry, ecause they had a very good looking male math teacher. Geometry always helps a anyway, a but ar when she was doing her opthalne course, she had to use stuff from three different aras of mathematics to get the qualification to move into opthalmic nursing.
