OpenAI's Marketing Strategy Marks a Boundary for Public Debate
Most jobs are in one way or another exposed to large language models like those that are being developed by a chat GPT. So these jobs are going to be at risk of being automated away but also there's the problem that the higher you're getting paid the more likely you have tasks that are exposed toChat GPT. OpenAI has been able to definitely take advantage of the tendency of people to anthropize something that uses language right and ascribe to it all these interior mental faculties that don't exist because there is no interiority to this large language model its just doing statistical inference about what's going on most likely to come next.
