Sangor, Cesar and Damas - The Three Members of a Trinity

Sangor and caeser were two of the three members of a so called holy trinity. The third member was leon gontran damas who served as a representative in the french parliament. Sangor said, ever since the 19 thirties, more than forty years ago, i have always placed culture before politics. This striking statement is helpful for beginning to grasp what necritude is. Controversially, it embraces black culture as being of primary importance in the advancement of black people.
