Stonehenge Festival - A New Age Traveler's Journey

The Free Festival started in 1974 as a utopian jamboree of a few hundred people. Over the past decade it has grown into a fully-fledged festival with tens of thousands of revelers. The government body that manages the site objects to people climbing and dancing on the protected stones. It is one of the darkest days in the modern history of Stonehenge, when over 500 people are arrested.
