I didn't realize how important it was for me to explore and learn some of these tools until I got to a point in my romantic relationship where the feedback I was getting was, you're not giving me what I need or we're having unhealthy conflicts. So without being too indiscreet, I think this person you're with, they probably love you. And if they knew that you weren't feeling love because they weren't able to give it because of how they had these conversations and could process it, I think they invest in it because they would be terrified of losing you.
