I like the fact you really feel like you're walking through history when you walk through Paris. You can find a street corner where there's a cafe and there's tables outside. And then there's a guy playing an accordion in the street. I remember on my 21st birthday, we ordered champagne and maybe an ice cream or something. We stood outside because it was a nice day to see all the monuments in Notre Dame. It's one of the reasons people travel to this most visited city in the world. That's why they say 'Paris has that sort of magic'
My friend Anna has written a book for children (7+) which has a full publishing contract and is available in all good bookshops now. The book tells the story of a boy who accidentally creates a monster when his secret collection of nose bogeys gets struck by lightning! This conversation includes lots of talk of snot and bogeys, as well as stories from Anna's time as a travel writer.
