The Importance of Owner Dependency in a Business
The company was heavily owner dependent. The dad, he retired three months into the deal. We replaced him with an internal promotion to crew leader that we had identified before closing. And he's been great. It's still, you know, like we're not 100% of the way there, but we're now sitting about 13 months from the transaction. But I feel like we've finally landed it at a spot that feels right for us.
