The Nephilim, the Sons of God and the Daughters of Men

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward when the sons of God came into the daughters of men. These were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown. When they translate Genesis 6, they translate nephileim as gigantes, which is the Greek word for giants. The Septuagint translators did the same thing in Numbers 13 where Moses has sent spies to scope out the promised land.
