The Herringach Canal in Amsterdam

Amsterdam has this half-moon shaped center. There are three main canals, the Heilchacht, the Kieszacht, and the Princeschacht. The Herringach canal is regarded as one of the most exclusive locations in Amsterdam. It was laid out in three phases - beginning with small buildings made of wood. In two later phases, the whole canal was laid out into its full half-moon shape. And there are a number of houses that are just iconic.
