The Relationship Between Epithelia and Cancer
The most common cancers in Australia are all epithelium. This is because they create the barriers between cells and environment. The more you want to go the cell cycle, the more likely statistically you are to have a mutation put into your genetic material. And therefore increased likelihood of a cancer arising. It's just less efficient as it was when you were born, let's say. So that's also on top of that is as you age, you have more errors in the system, right? Yes.
