Louis Jorda, Kate Rhodes James and Philip Savile are my favourites. The casting director drew up a very long list of 45 or 50 people to play the part. We wanted someone who had an unfainable otherness - that's what we were looking for. And then Louis Jorda turned up in Denmark with this amazing foreignness. He is devastatingly handsome and charismatic as well as being British.
