When i learned english, i listed to harry potter audio books 22 times in row. The first vocabulary word i had was lahomora and i knew what snape was from hebrew. And then little by little, i'd recognize like, one or two words in a sentence,. Then I'd listen again, i'd recognize two, and then three, that's how i picked up the language. Sometimes you get new information t it's like a shrub growing, but it's not connected to the tree. Those shrubs are really, really dangerous. Don't allow other tree, other shrubs in your garden if they're not connected tothe tree.
