What Went Wrong in the House of Commons?
My ministerial career ended on a day when the House was debating retained EU law bill. This is an essential bill to complete Brexit, so the Romania Acts absolutely hated and were out in force. I had the luxury of speaking from the back benches once again. It is much easier than being a minister and more fun. No need to suck up to people who make fatuous points, but an ability to debate.
