The Fascination With Flowers
I keep joking that I'm in my flower era because I've historically just been such a goth guy. But so much of my early work was just making images of these isolated objects with really taboo associations, whether they were leather boots or a leather jacket or, you know, what have you. A lot of accessories of subculture and that's still something that I am consistently exploring. The world is a very heavy place and flowers are equally laden with symbolism.
