I'm just wondering whether it is now sustainable in the face of these challenges to impartiality. The most serious is probably the post-truth world and the culture wars, which are really directly challenging this model of journalism. I govern a bit by anecdote in my site Yoda Age. And talking to students who was fascinating because if you ask them if they read a daily newspaper, they think you've gone mad. They find that rather extraordinary concept. But what they do do does use the BBC News website and the mainstream media news websites to find out whether things are true or not.
