The Secret Operation Crab Dive
Mountbatten loved dirty tricks and secret operations. He had a long history of association with intelligence, particularly naval intelligence. So it's inconceivable that in the position he had and given his background that he wouldn't have known about this. And so his claims not to know anything really don't stand up scrutiny. But if he was involved in the Crab dive, he'd surely have met with Crab. There are talks certainly of Mountbatten meeting Crab at Cowdrew Park - next door to Broadlands Estate.
