Running a Production Company in Latin America
Zach took a shot at running a legitimate production company, but none of the movies they make or distribute actually pay off. So now he's got to find another way to make money and he has to do it fast. Zach tells Jake that he is a production company that distributes movies to international territories. He buys the rights to low budget sci-fi and horror movies to stream in Latin America. Then he turns around and licenses those rights to big streamers like HBO and Netflix so they can show those movies in those territories. If Jake invests, he stands to make a 35% return in one quarter.
