The Role of Early Morning Sun Exposure in Optimizing Circadian Clocks

Getting some early morning sunlight helps to set the pace of the production and performance of all of our neurotransmitters and hormones. Research published in the journal, Innovations in Clinical Neuroscience revealed that exposure to sunlight during the earlier part of the day can significantly reduce cortisol levels at the end of the day compared to being exposed to dim light or artificial light during the day.
