Parenting

Most parents are completely clueless about any of he except on a very dull, sort of basic level. A parent knows full well what happens to children in public schools who still suck their thumbs and piss their pants or get caught fondling themselves in class. But many exasperated parents who don't know what else to do, just end up using threats or physical punishment to force the child to repress these impulses of a given stage. I mean, this is stress that child does not need and certainly does not have the emotional resources or maturity to deal with but they have no choice but to deal with it.
