The Roman Temple, a Likant Octostyle Temple

This image so vividly captures the kind of dark interior of the classical temple as it was imagined by people like pladios puriad. I don't know how close this is to how it was, but the supposition is there's a temple thrusting out of a wall that is higher than top of the temple roof. It's very cooltatis, but difficult to work out. And then you've got a sort of section going through the portico and then you'veGot a lovely ladies, youre lo lively ladies. But we do also get the wall behind with this, like, relentless, a kind of masonry drawing, bricky brooky bocky.
