The essential motivation behind what Foley is is it's adding character to whatever sound we're doing. So if we're enhancing a sound effect even then what we're doing is the character of it. We're enhanced what sound effects you're doing by adding the specific character that the sound effects can too. That's something that's never going to be replaceable with something that’s technological. They dub themselves, we dub ourselves artists.
